How are you all?

昨日は、神戸チャーチ2回目のサービスだったよ！
なんと、80人もの人が来てくれて、新しい人は14人もいたよ！
来てくれたみんな、本当にありがとう～！
Yesterday was Kobe church service for the second time!
We had 80 people including 14 new people!
Thank you all for coming!

神戸に対して熱い想いのある人たちが、ステージの上で歌ったり話したり、セットアップに来て準備したり、駅まで新しい人を迎えに行ったり…
みんなの情熱が、一つに、そしてどんどん大きくなっていってることを体感したよ！
Those who have a passion for Kobe were serving through singing or talking on the stage, setting up, or going to the station to pick up new people.
Everyone’s passion made the place united and passionate more!

そして、なんといっても、ひろしの最高のメッセージ。
And, we had such a great message from Hiroshi.

最初にひろしは、聖書に出てくるダメ息子の話をシェアしてくれた。
In the beginning, he shared a parable of a prodigal son in the Bible.

イエスはもっとよく説明しようと、また別のたとえ話もなさいました。 「ある人に息子が二人いました。　 ある日、弟のほうが出し抜けに、『お父さん。　あなたが亡くなってからじゃなく、今すぐ財産の分け前がほしいんだけどな。　だめですか』と言いだしたのです。　それで父親は、二人にそれぞれ財産を分けてやりました。 　もらう物をもらうと、何日もたたないうちに、弟は荷物をまとめ、そそくさと遠い国に旅立ちました。　そこで放蕩に明け暮れ、全財産を使い果たしてしまいました。　 一文なしになった時、その国に大ききんが起こり、食べる物にも事欠く有様でした。　 それで、その地方のある農夫に頼み込み、畑で豚を飼う仕事をもらいました。　 あまりのひもじさに、豚のえさのいなご豆さえ食べたいほどでしたが、だれも食べる物をくれません。 　こんな毎日を送るうち、彼もやっと目が覚めました。　『あーあ、家なら雇い人にだって、あり余るほど食べ物があるだろうな……。　なのにおれときたら、なんてみじめなんだ。　こんなとこで飢え死にしかけてる。　 そうだ。　家に帰ろう。　帰って、お父さんに頼もう。　「お父さん。　すみませんでした。　神様にも、お父さんにも、罪を犯してしまって……。　 もう息子と呼ばれる資格はありません。　どうか、雇い人として使ってください。」』 　決心がつくと、彼は父親のもとに帰って行きました。　ところが、家までは、まだ遠く離れていたというのに、父親は息子の姿を、いち早く見つけたのです。　『あれが帰って来た。　かわいそうに、あんな、みすぼらしいなりで……。』こう思うと、じっと待ってなどいられません。　走り寄ってぎゅっと抱きしめ、口づけしました。 　『お父さん。　ごめんなさいっ！　ぼくは神様にも、お父さんにも、取り返しのつかないことをしでかしました。　もう息子と呼ばれる資格はありません……。』 　ところが父親は、使用人たちにこう言いつけたのです。　『さあさあ、何をぼやぼやしている。　一番よい服を出して、これに着せてやれ！　宝石のついた指輪も、くつもだ。　 あっ、それから、肥えた子牛を料理して、盛大な祝宴の用意も忘れんようにな。　 死んだものとあきらめていた息子が生き返り、行方の知れなかった息子が帰って来たのだから。』こうして、祝宴が始まりました。

Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

ひろしはチャーチに来る前、言葉に障害があったから、そのせいで自分は他の人より劣ってると思ってた。
ずっと、死にたいと思ってた、でも、死ねなかった。
だから、がんばって生きようとしてた。
Before coming to church, Hiroshi had a speech disability so he was thinking he was a lesser person than others because of that.
He was thinking to commit a suicide but he couldn’t.
So he was trying hard to live.

でも3年前、チャーチに初めて来たときルークのメッセージを聞いて、神様の愛を知った。
ルークは言ってた。
『あなたがどんな人でも、どこにいても、天国のお父さんである神様は、あなたのこと愛してる。
あなたを作った時、「最高傑作だ！」って言ってくれた。』
But three years ago, when he came to church for the first time, he heard Luke’s message and got to know about God’s love for the first time.
In the message Luke said:
“No matter who you are and no matter where you are, God, the heavenly Father, loves you.
When He created you, He said ‘You are my masterpiece!'”

その時、ひろしは思ったんだって。
At that time, he thought in his heart.

『・・・こんなダメな僕でも、愛してくれるの？』
“Do you love ME, who is not a good person?”

って。

ひろしの心は感謝でいっぱいになって、自分らしくいられるようになった。
もっと人を好きになって、もっともっと人を愛せるようになったって。
He felt his heart full of thankfulness and got to love the way he is.
He got to love people more and more.

それってね、神様が、愛だから。
Do you know why?
Because God is love.

私たちは、どんなに神様に愛されているか、知っています。　現に、神様の愛を身近に感じ、また、私たちを心から愛すると言われた神様を、信じているからです。　神様は愛です。　愛のうちに生きる人は神様と共に生きるのであり、神様もまた、その人のうちに生きておられるのです。
(ヨハネの第一の手紙 4:16 JA1955)
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1John 4:16

神様は、愛。
神様は、永遠に変わらない愛。
God is love.
God is unfailing love.

たとえ話の放蕩息子のように、お金や目に見えるものは、一時的に必要を満たしてくれるかもしれない。
でも、それは自分の心を埋めてはくれるものじゃないって、いつか気づく。
As the prodigal son in the parable, money or what you can see might meet your need temporarily.
But you will realize that they will not fill your heart.

本当にあなたが必要なものは、目には見えない。でも、それがあなたにとって、一番大切なもの。
気づいたなら、今、戻ってこれる！あなたの大切なお父さんのところに。
What you really need can not be seen but that is the most important thing to you.
If you realize that, you can come back now! You can come back to your precious Father.

お父さんである神様のところに帰って、その愛を受けとろう。
Let’s go back to God, the Father and receive His love.

大丈夫。
あなたが帰ってこれる「家」は、ここにいつでもあるよ！
It’s all right,
We are here in the House, where you can always come back!

あなたがチャーチに来るのを待ってます！
